Paul was born in Taiwan and grew up in Burnaby. He was exposed to the legal field at a young age as his father is a lawyer and his mother is a Notary. Paul studied Business and Computing Science at Simon Fraser University and has experience in the field of I.T. management. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Legal Studies from Simon Fraser University, articling at Gail Maida’s office. He then joined her team permanently as a Notary after graduating in 2017. Paul and his wife Amy have three young children and his family is active with their church. Paul also enjoys photography and is fluent in Mandarin.
Erica was born and grew up in Richmond. She was exposed to the legal field through her summer internships with Gail and Paul. During this time, she gained experience in and found her passion for the areas of Wills and Estates, and Real Estate Conveyancing. Erica graduated from the University of British Columbia majoring in Psychology and joined the Maida & Chen team as a conveyancer before obtaining her Master’s Degree in Applied Legal Studies from Simon Fraser University. She returned to the office as a Notary after graduating in 2024. Erica is a foodie and has a background in Scouting. Erica also speaks Cantonese.
Lianna is our senior conveyancer and has been with the Maida & Chen team since its founding. Having managed countless property transactions, Lianna has a deep understanding of the conveyance process and ensures smooth processes for clients.
Yoana is our conveyancer and joined the Maida & Chen team in 2023. She ensures seamless experiences for clients through her efficiency and adaptability. Yoana is also fluent in Mandarin.
Angela is our legal assistant specializing in personal planning and joined the Maida & Chen team in 2022. Her approachable nature and commitment to client care ensures personalized experiences for clients. Angela is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
